IMMERSE KL 2025, Malaysia’s premier XR and Metaverse event, Ignited by Virtualtech Frontier in partnership with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), brought together innovators, creators, and industry leaders from across the region for two days of cutting-edge showcases, visionary keynotes, and interactive experiences.
From concept design and tech integration to on-ground execution, VTF managed the event end-to-end, delivering a seamless, future-ready experience. IMMERSE KL 2025 set a new benchmark for Malaysia’s tech scene, inspiring cross-industry collaborations that will shape the future of XR in Southeast Asia.
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with a smooth and efficient registration process. Attendees simply presented their QR code at the check-in counters, where our team swiftly verified their details.
In just moments, each guest received their official event tag, granting access to all sessions, showcases, and networking areas, specially designed to identify their role, whether as a Speaker, Exhibitor, Media, VIP, or Attendee.
For general attendees, access was managed differently: they were given a sticker badge on Day 1 and a wristband on Day 2. These credentials granted entry only to the Exhibition Hall and Conference Hall.
Outside the conference hall, guests were welcomed by a vibrant photo backdrop, the perfect spot to capture memories of IMMERSE KL 2025.
Stepping into the Exhibition Hall, guests were welcomed into a space featuring 23 booths representing sponsor partners, diamond partners, gold partners, silver partners, bronze partners, and exhibitors.
Each booth showcased its products in a unique way, mainly focusing on XR, VR, AI bots, and the Metaverse.
From different cool headsets to advanced tech specs and interactive demos, every setup offered attendees an engaging opportunity to experience the latest in immersive and creative technology.
The diverse range of exhibitors created a lively environment that encouraged exploration, networking, and innovation sharing throughout IMMERSE KL 2025.
At the heart of the hall stood a mini stage, designed for quick announcements, informal gatherings, and networking moments for those inside the exhibition area.
It also served as a prime spot for photo opportunities, allowing partners, speakers, and guests to capture memorable moments against the official backdrop of IMMERSE KL 2025.
Just outside the hall, a larger booth greeted attendees as they entered and exited the main exhibition space. Strategically placed to draw attention, this booth offered an immersive display experience and served as a central attraction point, ensuring that even those passing by couldn’t resist stopping to explore.
Not only that, there was also a dedicated student showcase area, giving university students the platform to present their XR and Metaverse projects.
Many of these were early-stage startups, developed as part of academic and innovation programs, highlighting VTF and MDEC’s commitment to supporting young talent and empowering the next generation of creators in Malaysia’s immersive tech industry.
The Conference Hall was designed as a dynamic and versatile space, anchored by a striking 3D alphabet stage prop proudly spelling out IMMERSE KL.
This bold centerpiece served as a perfect backdrop for the launch gimmick, instantly setting the tone for the event’s futuristic theme.
The hall’s layout was spacious enough to accommodate a wide range of programs, from impactful conference talks and panel discussions to engaging keynote sessions, all within an environment that encouraged both learning and networking.
Beyond the main hall, several dedicated rooms were set up to host focused workshop sessions. These spaces provided an intimate setting for deeper engagement, where invited speakers and industry thought leaders shared their expertise on XR, metaverse, AI, and emerging creative technologies.
Designed for smaller groups, the workshops encouraged hands-on learning, interactive discussions, and practical takeaways that attendees could apply beyond the event.
